Hey you guys! We are so excited to be back and share the perfect addition to your dining room that’s easy, inexpensive to create and just so cute. Without further adieu, we’d like to share our tute for an upcycled cupboard serving tray:
This was even cheaper for us to make because we got the cupboard door from our uncle who recently updated his kitchen and gave us a pile of cupboard doors in fab shape… stay tuned for more ways to upcycle cupboard doors on our site!
To get started you’ll need a cupboard door of any size (we used a rectangular shaped one,) 2 drawer pulls we snagged at our local home improvement store for a few bucks, 4 legs that were repurposed from an old project (also available at your local home improvement store,) bit of white acrylic paint and a foam brush.
1. First things first, paint! We did a light brush of white acrylic paint. 2. Screw holes on all 4 sides of the cupboard door for serving tray feet. 3. Insert feet. 4. Drill holes for handles on each side and screw in handles. Viola!
Pretty easy peasy! I am loving how it is currently displayed in my dining room:
This would also look cute displayed with fresh flowers in mason jars or even to give as a gift (: Be sure to pop by Lolly Jane for more tutorials!
